Hey everyone!!! It's us again!! Sally and Allie!! We're here posting about our day musicalish and pettish...well anyways...lets get STARTED!!
Allie:This morning, walking in the classroom, on the board it said SELF ASSESSMENTS. And I was like whats that all about. Later, Mr. McD. showed it to us and I was like HEY I know that!! So I got started right away. It was a breeze. During recess, Geen-Geen and I played kickball. The game was SO CHEAP!! Everytime that there was someone that didn't kick that well, Law and some other people would just throw it out farther. But music cheered my spirits up. It was cool. When we played this song on page 34, I don't like the B PART!! The A PART is great!! But the B PART we go on lower strings and stuff so I kinda don't like that. But anyways it was great for the most part. INDEPENDENT READERS' WORKSHOP said the next thing on the board. I LOVE reading. I finished proofreading my letter so I continued reading my book. I really wanted to finish the book and I was so close when poof!! Mr. McD. told us to clean up so...we read "Gilly". Then, when I played kickball again, the game was better.
Sally: Adding to this morning, during Greeting Meeting, Mr. McD. told us that he saw a bearded dragon in a pet store. When I first heard it, I was like, a real, live dragon? TOTALLY AWESOME, DUDE! But right then and there, Mr. McD. told us it was just a lizard. During recess, Moly and I played shooting hoops. At first, I made all of the shots. After a few 10 minutes, she was making every shot she could get! I tried desperately to shoot, but all my hard effort was wasted when the bell rang. The bell rang unusually hard so that my aim went off and it bounced off the rim. At the end of school day, Mr. McD. made us vote to see if we wanted that bearded dragon or not. We put our heads down, raised our hands, and he counted. After he told us it was okay to raise our heads again, he said in a sad voice, "I'm sorry, only 19 voted to get the dragon." At first, I was like, awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, but then, he burst out laughing just as I got the point. There were 23 students in our class, and 19 out of 23 is the major. I couldn't believe he actually managed to pull that trick on me!!!
So that was our sort of unusually unnormal day, thanks for listening!
